Timeline of events
There are many highlights in the history of the activities of the Scottish implement and machine makers. I have included a selection of key developments from 1763 to 1970, based on the activities of particular makers. These developments have been identified through agricultural books and newspapers including the North British agriculturist, Farming news and North British agriculturist and The Scottish farmer.
